ACTIVITES
Golf-
Turns out, I wasn't TOO terrible at golf in high school because it
landed me a scholarship hear at Wayne. I love college golf.
I feel like its less stressful. Ask just about any other
sport and they will disagree I bet though. The girls on my golf
team are awesome. I bet my best friend here because of golf.
Our coach Troy is a...unique
guy. Overall he is pretty nice though. Our practices are
pretty much all individual. However, a group of us usually always
go out together and play a round or hit a bucket of balls. I'm
not the BEST golfer by any means, but, I know I'm definitely not the
worst either.
Bowling- Yup, still bowling. I bowl Wednesday nights on a
league. My team is made up of the boys golf team (click on the link to see a picture of those goons) + me! We play
against some baseball guys and other random people that live in Wayne.
It's a lot of fun. I love beating all those stupid boys.
I also am assistant coach for the Wayne High School girls team.
We practice Mondays and Thursdays at 5. Our first "dual" is
this Sunday and I am EXTREMELY nervous/excited/anxious. This
coaching job is completely volunteer. I figure it will look good
on my resume as well as give me a good experience.
S.A.C.- Student Athlete Committee. This group meets at 7am on
Mondays which is a drag. Two representatives from each sport are
invited into the committee. At the meetings we talk about
fundraisers for the school and things like that.
